Q: Can my children have a go on the karts?
A: Yes. They can drive by themselves from 9 years old and 138cm. Kids as young as 5 can be driven around by an Adult in our dual seater karts.
Q: Can I bring my work mates down for a go?
A: Sure, just get 8 or more mates together, give us a call and we will do the rest.
Q: I heard that I can do night racing in karts, is that true?
A: Yes, bookings required after 6.00pm and will go until 9.00pm.
Q: Do I have to wear a racing suit and helmet?
A: Helmet Yes, racing suit optional.
Q: Can we have a BBQ after our race meet?
A: Absolutely, you need to bring you own food, we supply BBQ for $10.00.
Q: What sort of footwear do I need?
A: You can wear anything that totally covers your feet.
Q: What if I don't bring any covered footwear?
A: That's fine, we can lend you some for the duration of the race meet.
Q: What do I do if I have long hair?
A: We ask that you use a hairband to tie it up and wear a hairnet.
Q: Can I use my own racing helmet and equipment?
A: Yes, as long as it is a Full Face helmet with an Australian approval stamp.
Q: Can I drive the karts if I have been drinking alcohol or taking drugs?
A: No. It is an offence to ride an amusement ride while intoxicated, that’s anything over .001% and you can be charged by the Police.
Q: Can we get food and drink at the track?
A: Yes, a wide range of cold drinks and snacks are available.
Q: What happens if it rains during our race meet?
A: Richmond is all indoors.
Q: Can I wear a Scarf or Religious headwear?
A: Both Scarfs and Religious headwear present a serious choking hazard and cannot be worn while on track. For people wearing Religious headwear, we do have private rooms where you can get changed into a helmet.
